KUDURO 

Debuting at Spraoi 2025, Kuduro blew the roof off the Applemarket, with the show being described as 'bringing legendary Ibiza club Manumission to Waterford'. Round two is planned for Bank Lane on Tuesday December 30th, with a stellar line up of local talent in support.

The recent tragic loss of Stephen Richards, an integral part of the group, means the December show is all the more poignant for the band, his family and friends who are devastated by his loss. We have decided to go ahead with the show in Stephen's honor, and the night will be a celebration of Stephen's life, his career in the local, national and international music scene and a chance for everyone to dance one last time in his memory.

Kuduro is a project close to all our hearts, and one we know Stephen was so proud to be a part of. We're thrilled to announce that a new track Stephen produced for this show will debut as part of the Kuduro set and we are so excited for everyone to hear it.

All ticket sales will be donated to Stephen's family.

GET DOWN EDITS 

Get Down Edits (Darren Dalton & Martin Roche) are born and bred Waterford DJ's who need no introduction – dance floor royalty only partly captures the esteem they're held in. Representing Waterford on the global stage, they have played venues all over the world including Mexico, Ibiza, Croatia, Italy, UK and Germany. They also run their own Get Down Edits record label which has hosted many heavyweight releases both digitally and on vinyl over the past number of years. Behind their exceptional DJ skills, they also produce quality releases under their own name and every DJ knows that a GDE remix is always dancefloor gold. Expect a classic Get Down Edits set from the masters of the scene.

SX2 

SX2 are brothers Clive & Scott Sullivan and the crown princes of Waterford's dance music scene. Moving from bedroom to club in 2017, their DJ sets and productions blend genres, drawing on groove, emotion, and everything else in between. Renowned for not conforming to any particular sound, style, or trend, their DIY approach creates a fresh sound as can be heard on their releases "Steady Up" with local Hip Hop artist Pat Lagoon, and "Leave Them All Behind" with Crome Yellow and Highdive's Andy Phelan and their upcoming release Powder, due in January 2026. They host a monthly residency at Electric Avenue, regular parties with their Ruze side project and took the 2025 festival circuit by storm, with headline closing slots at Electric Picnic and All Together Now. They have also launched their Soul For Sale/project on respected label Disco Halal and are getting regular support from Keinemusik, John Digweed, Moscoman, and Dave Seaman just to name a few. Expect the unexpected as SX2 destroy the dance floor.

ESTEBAN 

Ste Hendry, at this stage an honorary Blaa, hails from Liverpool and has been DJ'ing as Esteban for more than 35 years. He is also the brains / creative force behind 'Black Light Disco' - a collective of like-minded DJs and producers from across the UK and Ireland which has built a solid global following since its inception in 2019 and continues to be a major influence in the disco and house world. Esteban is no stranger to Waterford's nightlife scene, having partnered with Stephen Richards under the 'Disco Daze' banner on numerous occasions for various gigs, shows and festivals in and around the city. Although his music style is firmly rooted in the funkier side of disco and house, Esteban is known for taking the crowd on a sonic journey through genres with a heavy emphasis on filling the dance floor. Esteban expertly reads every dancefloor and knows how to make it move.
